Supported areas include the Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park, the Atol das Rocas Biological Reserve, and the Serra da Capivara National Park.

Gestão de Recursos Hídricos
A AXIA Energia Nordeste manages 10 reservoirs located across the São Francisco, Parnaíba, de Contas, and Piranhas-Açu river basins, contributing to water security, the sustainable use of water resources, and renewable energy generation in the region. Operations are supported by a hydrological monitoring network that continuously tracks river conditions, flow rates, water levels, and reservoir storage volumes.
Combined with hydrological forecasting and simulation systems, this infrastructure provides essential information for the planning and operation of the company's hydropower assets. Continuous monitoring of the river basins enables integrated water resources management, contributing to the reliability of the power system and supporting society's energy needs.
Reservoir operations are conducted in accordance with the guidelines established by the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency (ANA), the National Electric System Operator (ONS), and the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL), balancing energy generation with the multiple uses of water resources. Through this approach, AXIA Nordeste contributes to regional development, the preservation of natural resources, and Brazil's energy security.
