Refilling plan successfully executed and water level at colíder hydropower plant reservoir restored to 272 meters
AXIA Energia has successfully completed the refilling of the Colíder Hydropower Plant reservoir. The water level has been restored to approximately 272 meters above sea level, returning to the same level recorded in August 2025.
The procedure was carried out gradually and in a controlled manner, in line with the plan established by the company.
Throughout the process, priority was given to the safety of people, the environment, and the asset. The operation was monitored by the relevant authorities and was completed without incidents.

River level
Based on the recommendation of a panel of experts, the company initiated the controlled drawdown of the reservoir on august 14. now, following guidance from these experts, the drawdown has been suspended.

After the construction work was completed AXIA conducted specific tests and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of the measures adopted, which proved to be successful.
Safety classification
Dam safety levels may be classified as normal, attention, alert, or emergency. The Colíder power plant is currently at alert level, which is triggered when anomalies are identified that do not pose an immediate risk but require monitoring and control.
Fauna preservation
During the interventions, environmental protection is an essential part of the operation. Approximately 100 professionals are dedicated to the care of aquatic fauna.

It is important to stay alert to possible variations in river level when carrying out activities such as fishing and navigation.
